Exploring Gender with Casual Reign: My Gender Journal

At Casual Reign, we believe in the power of self-expression and the importance of taking the time to understand who we are. Journaling has been a huge part of my personal journey, and I wanted to create something that could help others explore their gender, their identity, and their feelings in a safe, supportive space.

So, I’m excited to introduce Casual Reign: My Gender Journal (link won't be live until May 1, 2025). This isn’t just a journal. It’s a tool for self-discovery, a safe space where you can reflect on your gender journey without fear of judgement. It’s about exploring your euphoria, your story, and your path in a way that’s uniquely yours.

Why I Created This Journal

Journaling has always been a way for me to make sense of my thoughts and emotions. Whether I’m reflecting on big life changes, writing about my day, or just processing how I’m feeling in the moment, it’s been an invaluable tool in my life. I wanted to create a space where others could do the same - particularly within the LGBTQIA+ community.

With the challenges that we face today, especially with the recent Supreme Court ruling, I felt that now, more than ever, we need a space to process and feel supported. Casual Reign: My Gender Journal is here to provide that space. It’s a place where your gender exploration is embraced and where there are no rules or expectations, only freedom to explore and grow.

What’s Inside the Journal

Each section of the journal includes thought-provoking prompts designed to help you reflect on your journey. You’ll find a mix of questions that encourage introspection, as well as space to express your emotions and experiences.

We’ve also included community pages featuring real quotes and advice from trans and non-binary people. These pages are a reminder that you’re not alone on this journey, and there’s a community ready to uplift and support you. They're also a reminder that kindness, support and understanding can help us all grow.

But we want to take it a step further. If you’re comfortable, we’d love for you to share your journal entries with us and the wider community. You can submit your reflections through our website using our journal submission form, or share them on social media with the hashtag #MyCasualReign. By sharing your story, you’re helping others who may feel the same way - you’re making someone feel heard, seen, and understood.

Each month, we’ll select a lucky winner from those who share their entries to receive a special giveaway, as a thank-you for contributing to the community. Your submissions might also be featured in our emails, website, or social media, giving your voice the chance to inspire and uplift others.
